Bruiser is a rat terrier mix that has gone through a lot of fears. He had to be trapped and snared by the shelter to be caught. When he arrived here he gave the appearance of having never been touched before. He has come a long ways since his arrival and is now sweet and affectionate with those he is comfortable with. He needs a quiet home with no small children. He will take his time in getting to know new people and still needs more socializing and training. Bruiser has been with us over a year. He has come so very far. He is now allowing most handling. He needs someone who understands positive reinforcement training with proper corrections.
